Refurbishing of Tahya Maskan Orpanage and Learning Center Now Complete
This school located in Parwan
district of Kabul had cracks and holes all around the school. When Bayat Foundation
Director, Fatema Bayat, visited the school, there were puddles inside of the classrooms,
the walls were all cracked, the entire school needed painting and touch up. A team
was sent to the school to survey the work needed to refurbish the school. On August
17th, the reconstruction and
repairing of the center was completed.
Bayat Foundation also purchased 100 sets of desks for the school. Upon completion
of this project, high ranking authorities from the ministry of Social Affairs visited
the school to acknowledge the work that was accomplished by Bayat Foundation. This project
was made possible by the contributions from caring donors in the United
States, Canada, and Europe.
