On April 8, 2021, after completion of the Job Readiness Training (JRT), Bayat Foundation and Cordaid Afghanistan hosted the 5th annual Bright Futures Job Fair at the Park Star Hotel, to match 100 young university graduates to potential employers.
Bright Future program is aimed to provide Job readiness training for the youth graduating from various faculties and universities. Upon the successful completion of in-class trainings, the young jobseekers are offered internship opportunities with suitable or desired employers. These employers include business companies, traders, partner organizations, vendors, SMEs and start-ups.
Cordaid Afghanistan’s Country Director, Jaap van Hierden, thanked the potential employers present for their commitment to give young educated job seekers an opportunity to gain experience and confidence, and thereby hope for a better future.
Mr. Ajmal Qabooli from the Ministry of Labor (MOLSA) also shared his thoughts and handed over certificates to Bright Future graduates.
