There are more than 3.5 million internally displaced in Afghanistan, with over half a million displaced this year alone. With malnutrition rates amongst the world’s highest, drought, instability, and the rapid spread of coronavirus, at-risk Afghans are facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
Shahrak-e Mohammadia High School Water Well
Bayat Foundation completed a 110m water well for the families and students in Shahrak-e Mohammadia. This well was built on behalf of a generous donor in memory of Parwin and Zaki Sharifi . The well is estimated to provide approximately 3,000 families and 2,500 students with clean water.
18th District Mosque Water Well
Bayat Foundation completed a 108m water well for the families in the 18th District of Kabul. This well was built on behalf of a generous donor in memory of Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil, Abdul Razak Ghanizada, and Abdul Jalil Rahmani . The well is estimated to provide approximately 1,500 families with clean water.
