The cornerstone for an all girls school was placed on November 23th  , 2011 in Ghoran in the Guzara district of Herat Province.   The one story building will be able to serve up to 330 students and is expected to be completed by March of 2012.   There is already an existing school nearby that male students are attending, however, females were deprived of an educational center in the area and Bayat Foundation has taken on this project to complete that need.  If you are interested in donating to this project, please click on “Donate Now” and choose Education Projects as your gift designation.
