In January 2013, the Bayat Foundation visited the Tahya-e-Maskan Orphanage in Kabul, as well as the Jalalabad Orphanage. At the Tahya-e-Maskan Orphanage in Kabul, founders Ehsan and Fatema Bayat donated a new computer lab for the orphans to use, featuring access to the internet. Internet access is key to connecting young Afghans to the rest of the world, helping them to access knowledge and information they can use to further their education.
Additionally, the Bayat Foundation donated food, warm clothing, and heaters to the Jalalabad Orphanage in the hopes that the warm clothing and heaters will be particularly helpful during the cold winter to keep these children warm.
